Understanding ourselves and others is vital to living a happy and balanced life. As our personal and spiritual journey progresses, we often feel called to deeper levels of self honesty and self awareness. Reconnecting with who we are beyond our personal history, however, is not easy.

Some days you feel present, relaxed and grounded and other days you feel stuck, closed off and full of negativity towards yourself and others. You sense a missing piece that will be an important key to lasting positive change.

How It Works

Simply taking a behavioural approach to personal change or retelling our stories over and over again fails to bring about lasting change because they do not address the underlying unconscious patterns that drive much of our behaviour.

The Enneagram works because it is the clearest, most accurate method available for understanding ourselves and others. The Enneagram changes lives because it opens up a whole new level of insight as to why we do what we do and how we can break out of our self-imposed prison.

What is the Enneagram?

The fundamental premise of the Enneagram is that there are nine basic personality types in human nature – nine points of view, nine value systems, nine ways of being in the world. The Enneagram does NOT put you in a box. Rather it shows you the box you are already in (but don’t know it) and the way out.

People with a deep commitment to the inner journey of personal transformation study the Enneagram to become more conscious of how their personality operates.

Not Just Another Personality Typing System

Although the psychology of the types is fascinating, and often uncannily accurate, the real purpose of the Enneagram is to point to who we are beyond the level of personality, to discover a dimension of ourselves that is infinitely more interesting, more rewarding and more real.

When Enneagram insights become part of your ongoing spiritual practice, it becomes a powerful and profound access point for reconnecting with our True Nature and living a life that is grounded, connected and free.

How Can I Start or Deepen My Enneagram Journey?

There are many ways you can work with the Enneagram but one of the most powerful is to attend a workshop with a highly trained teacher who will not only guide you through the subtleties of the model but also help you have a direct experience of a deeper truth beyond your personality. Since first meeting the Enneagram in 1998, I have had the great privilege of studying with some of the world’s leading Enneagram teachers, including Helen Palmer and Sandra Maitri.

I am a Certified Teacher and on-going student with the Enneagram Institute. As an Enneagram Institute Authorised Workshop Teacher, I am one of only two people in Europe able to lead workshops previously only taught by Don & Russ themselves.
